Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Principal Lecturer in Linguistics and
Spanish

The successful candidate should have:

- Completed [or be about to submit] a PhD;
- A proven research record in Spanish Studies in general and Spanish
Linguistics in particular, preferably in Applied Linguistics,
Psycholinguistics or Sociolinguistics, though candidates from other sub
disciplines of Linguistics will be considered;
- High quality teaching skills and the ability to enthuse undergraduate
and postgraduate students; 
- Experience with curriculum development in Spanish Studies and Spanish
Linguistics, also with respect to the development of IT skills in the
curriculum;
- Managerial and organisational talent, including the ability to work
in a team, with academic and administrative colleagues, and to
accurately perform administrative tasks related to teaching.

Evidence of successful applications for external research funding will
be considered an advantage.
