This is a full-time, tenure track position offered for Fall 2002. Ph.D. in Hispanic, general, or educational linguistics at time of appointment is required. Expertise in an applied field of Hispanic Linguistics, such as sociolinguistics, bilingualism, dialtectology, child language, heritage language teaching, or English/Spanish translation and interpreting. Sub-specialization or substantial experience in one of the following fields of formal linguistics is also desirable: historical linguistics, phonology, syntax, or discourse analysis.
