Dear colleagues, the TIGER project is pleased to announce TIGERSearch 2.0, the new version of the treebank search tool. TIGERSearch supports a wide variety of treebank formats. For details about TIGERSearch 2.0, see: http://www.tigersearch.de Major improvements to TIGERSearch 2.0: - Graphical input of corpus queries Queries can be ''drawn'' in an intuitive manner. - Bookmarks Frequently used queries can be saved as ''bookmarks''. - Templates Complex queries can be modularized by breaking them down into parametrizable named query templates. - Corpus statistics A tool for compiling co-occurrence frequencies has been included. Frequency tables can be exported in various formats. - Internationalization TIGERSearch 2.0 can handle corpora (and queries) which include Unicode characters. (On some platforms, however, you will have to install a freely available Unicode font first.) - Documentation The TIGERSearch manual can now be accessed directly from the graphical user interface. A PDF version for high-quality printout is also provided.
