University or Organization: University of Potsdam Department: Linguistics Department Rank of Job: Post Doc Specialty Areas: General Linguistics Description: The linguistics department of the University of Potsdam is seeking to fill two half-post-doc positions, which will be ideally occupied by one person. One half-position is for a linguist interested in theoretical and applied questions of the prosody-syntax interface of information structure. This is part of a multiple project (a new SFB). These jobs are for persons willing to participate in the development of new methodological tools in the elicitation and storing of data, both phonological and syntactic, and who are eager to work in a team. Knowledge of German is a plus, but it is not indispensible. Start is July 1st, 2003.
