Description:

Expedia's IT Systems is looking for a highly motivated, flexible, and
self-directed Program Manager who will help define and drive new
features for our Speech Recognition Systems. The successful individual
will work with customer experience, operations, development and
customer support to understand the business and technical requirements
for the next generation systems.

Responsibilities: 
- Develop detailed functional specifications for our Speech
 Recognition Systems Drive the Voice User Interface design
- Help drive the development and testing for on-time delivery of
 hot-fixes and releases Assist in resolving live site issues

Experience: 
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience with IVR systems, VoiceXML, advance speech recognition,
 Voice User Interface design and telephony
- Experience writing functional design specifications
- Strong customer focus and technical knowledge Experience in
 coordinating with cross-functional teams including external resources
- Solid problem-solving and oral/written communication skills Passion
 for delivering industry-leading voice user interfaces
- Knowledge of general Internet, database, and UI design as well as
 familiarity with e-commerce systems
- BA/BS degree in technical field or related discipline preferred
