Description:

Set up in 1995, ELDA, the Evaluations and Language Distribution
Agency, is the operational body of ELRA, the European Language
Resources Distribution Agency whose aim is the collection, production
and distribution of language resources with the legal issues
resolved. ELDA also participates in evaluation campaigns.

Position Description:
In the context of a European Union funded project, we are looking for
native English speakers to transcribe broadcast news programmes in
English with meta-linguistic annotations, for a limited duration
contract (approximately 1-2 months).

Profile requested:
- English mother tongue with excellent level of written English
- Degree (or similar) in linguistics/computational linguistics,
 phonetics, lexicography etc.
- Excellent IT/keyboard skills
- Knowledge of current affairs a plus

The positions are based in Paris, and the salary is commensurate with
qualifications and experience
