Universidade Nova de Lisboa hosts the Lisbon Workshop on Agreement aiming at discussing the following issues: i) What is the relation between syntax and morphology in determining agreement relations? ii) Which (if any) syntactic configurations are relevant for determining agreement? iii) How relevant is verbal agreement for the purposes of EPP? iv) Are there connections between verbal and DP-internal agreement? v) How are person, number and gender agreement to be distinguished both morphologically and syntactically? vi) Do AGREE and Spec,head relations trigger different agreement effects? If so, why? vii) What type of relation is there between head-movement and morphological agreement? Papers are invited for 20 minute talks, followed by a 10 minute discussion.
