The Department of Linguistics invites applications for a tenure-track
assistant professor position to begin July 1, 2004. The area of
specialization should be related to Yucatec Mayan, or closely related
Mesoamerican languages. The successful candidate will have a
commitment to excellent teaching and a strong program of research that
will complement strengths of the Department and activities in the
Institute for Latin American Studies. Applications should submit a
letter of introduction, cv, four letters of recommendation and a
research sample by December 1, 2003 to:
