The conference will be organized in a series of panels, an opening plenary, and a number of performance events that will address the issues from a variety of disciplines. The organizers invite academics, artists, activists, and students to submit proposals for papers. Each proposal should include the title of the paper and an abstract (maximum length 300 words)that details the contents of the proposed paper and how the paper fits into one of the panels (see conference website for details). The organizres also welcome proposals for complete panels (minimum 3 papers plus respondent) that fit into the general theme of the conference. Each proposal should aslo include the name and institutional affiliation of the author. Proposals should be sent as an attached MS Word document to mgithinji
