AMERICAN NATIONAL CORPUS First Release The First Release of the American National Corpus is now available from the Linguistic Data Consortium. The ANC First Release contains over 10,000,000 words of written and spoken American English, annotated for lemma and part of speech. It is freely available (for the cost of CD production) for research from the Linguistic Data Consortium. Commercial users can obtain the corpus and gain rights to use it in commercial products by joining the ANC Consortium.
