Drinks Reception Invitation to Linguists attending the AAA Meeting,
November 2003

Elsevier, the journal Language & Communication, and its co-editor
Talbot Taylor invite you to a drinks reception on Thursday 20th
November, 7-8pm in conference Room 4F at the American Anthropological
Association Meeting.

Please join us and others in celebrating publication this year of two
special issues devoted to linguistic anthropology: issue 23/2
''Language and Desire'' (guest-editors Deborah Cameron and Don Kulick)
and issue 23/3-4 ''Linguistic and Semiotic Studies of Sociocultural
Order'' (guest-editor Paul Manning). The table of contents of these
