Essays in Arts and Sciences is a peer reviewed interdisciplinary
journal issued twice a year (fall and spring) devoted to critical,
provocative, and innovative essays regarding the arts, culture,
humanities, and the social implications of science.

The journal seeks submissions from any discipline in the arts,
sciences, or humanities and welcomes work from both junior and senior
scholars.

Conference - Call for Papers 
"International Conference- Language and
Communication in the Media"- 27-29 April 2004, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Organized by: Malaysian Association of Modern Languages. The conference
theme may be explored in the context of media and power, nation
building, gender, gerontology, ideology, media literacy, communication
technology, politics and the media and other related areas of
research. An abstract of 200-500 words should be submitted by 1st
February 2004.
