Description:

Coordinator, ESL Services. 
Division of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies,
University of Texas, San Antonio. 

Annual Salary: $33,093-$47,985, depending on qualifications and
experience. Requirements: M.A. in ESL; 2 years experience in teaching
ESL in different settings; managing ESL programs and designing,
implementing, and evaluating curricula; completing management tasks,
e.g., budget, reports, supervision of instructors and support staff.
Preferred: doctorate in ESL or related field; experience working with
university international programs and admissions offices; familiarity
with US citizen and naturalization services regulations; able to
develop outreach ESL programs in the community, especially workplace
ESL. Duties: develop, implement, and coordinate ESL services at UTSA;
devise and implement student recruitment plan for intensive English
program and/or other special programs; supervise on-going evaluation
of instruction; start up new programs as need arises; design and
implement curricula.
