A fully funded three-year University of Sheffield studentship is available with immediate effect in the Bakhtin Centre/Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies for a project entitled "Russian philosophy of culture and language in the 1920s: institutional and theoretical dynamics". The studentship, which must be taken up no later than 31 July 2003, pays UK/EU tuition fees plus a maintenance stipend at the basic Research Council rate (expected to be 8500 pounds in 2003/04) as well as an annual Research Training Support Grant.
