University or Organization: Harvard University Department: Linguistics Rank of Job: Lecturer Specialty Areas: Phonology Description: The Department of Linguistics at Harvard University is seeking to make a one-year visiting appointment in phonology for the academic year 2003-04. The appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer. A Ph.D. is required prior to the time of appointment, and no later than September 1, 2003. It is anticipated that a full-scale search for an Assistant Professor of phonology, with an initial five-year appointment, will be conducted in the course of 2003-04. Applicants should send a detailed curriculum vitae and arrange to have three letters of recommendation arrive no later than March 10, 2003.
