Working title: LECTURER IN URDU
Official title: LECTURER(D80DN)

Degree and area of specialization: Minimum of B.A. degree with major
in language or literature.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience: One year
of teaching experience preferred in teaching Urdu as a second language
at the college/university level in the U.S. or abroad.

Principal duties: Teach one or more of the following three levels of
Urdu tograduate and undergraduate students at 25% time per course:

 Fall Semester courses
 371 First Semester Urdu
 471 Third Semester Urdu
 571 Fifth Semester Urdu

 Spring Semester Courses
 372 Second Semester Urdu
 472 Fourth Semester Urdu
 572 Sixth Semester Urdu

Responsible for preparing syllabi, teaching preparation, classroom
instruction, holding office hours, and for preparing, administering
and grading of all tests and examinations for the assigned courses.

 A period of evaluation will be required.
