We are happy to announce the first issue of Catalan Journal of
Linguistics, edited by the Grup de Gram�tica Te�rica of the
Universitat Aut�noma de Barcelona and the Institut Interuniversitari
de Filologia Valenciana.

This new journal aims to contribute with annual issues to ongoing
debates in the study of grammar, with special emphasis on Romance, and
the generative framework.

The first volume is a special issue on The Grammar of Clitics, edited
by G. Rigau and J. Mascar�. The table of contents is as follows:
