The appointment begins April 1, 2004. 1. Responsibilities: i) Teaching English courses, undergraduate linguistics and other related courses. ii) Serving on various administrative committees. 2. Rank: Lecturer/Associate Professor 3. Qualifications: An applicant must i) specialize in linguistics, ii) have a Ph.D. or an equivalent academic career, iii) have sufficient ability in Japanese to carry out all job-related duties. 4. Required documents: i) Curriculum vitae (a photo attached) ii) List of publications iii) Three sample publications (photocopies are acceptable) iv) A statement of your proficiency in Japanese, if you are non- native speaker of Japanese. 5.
