Thank you to everyone who replied to my request (Linguist 15.1116) for
resources using or analyzing the "comic book medium." I am still
verifying a few sources, but I have combined those that I could
discern as relevant into a Reference Bibliography on my website at:

http://www.emaki.net/ref.html

My intention is that this list can be used as a resource for research
across topics such as the grammar of sequences of images,
multimodality of text and image, discussions of children's acquisition
of the form, and anything else pertaining to the structural properties
of the "comic medium." Again, if anyone has any sources to add, I
welcome you to contact me.

Thanks again,

Neil Cohn
