The Department of Psychology at the University of York seeks
applicants for an ESRC studentship in the fields of psycholinguistics,
reading, or related areas of cognitive psychology. The successful
candidate will be offered a 1+3 quota award. During the first year
they will complete the MSc in Reading, Language and Cognition. (see
http://www.york.ac.uk/depts/psych/www/gsp/rlc/ ).

After successful completion of the masters degree, they will proceed
to the PhD under the supervision of one of the following faculty
members; Gerry Altmann, Alan Baddeley, Andy Ellis, Gareth Gaskell,
Graham Hitch, Charles Hulme, Padraic Monaghan, Philp Quinlan, Maggie
Snowling, Quentin Summerfield, Andy Young.
