University or Organization: European Academy Bolzano/Bozen (EURAC) Department: Language and Law Rank of Job: Junior Researcher Specialty Areas: Computational Linguistics Required Language(s): English (Code = ENG); German, Standard (Code = GER); Italian (Code = ITN) Description: The European Academy Bolzano/Bozen (EURAC) seeks a junior researcher in Computational Linguistics and Computational Terminology. You will be assisting in the development of knowledge resources, working within a team of linguists and legal experts. Your duties will include the following: - creation and analysis of text corpora - development of terminology management systems - creation of automatic tools for terminological projects ( http://www.eurac.edu/bistro ) - assessment and evaluation of knowledge resources. A university degree in Computational Linguistics or Computational Terminology or equivalent qualification, is required. Postgraduate studies will be encouraged. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a team in a multicultural environment are very important.
