Meeting Description:

The Fundaci�n Duques de Soria is organizing a summer course on the
applications of spoken language systems in Soria (Spain) from July 12
to July 16 2004.

Topics covered are: objective assessment of spoken language systems
(R. San-Segundo, Universidad Polit�cnica de Madrid), emotions in
person-machine communication (J.M. Montero, Universidad Polit�cnica
de Madrid), prosody in natural human interaction (A. Hidalgo,
Universidad de Valencia) and the commercial development and
applications of spoken language systems (J,. Rela�o, Telef�nica I+D;
B. Romero, Grupo Voice; C. Mart�n, Infospeech; I. Gil, Caja Madrid;
E, Vilaclara, Servei Meteorol�gic de Catalunya). The course will be
taught in Spanish.
