West Virginia University Press will be sponsoring a session on the Old Saxon Heliand at the 40th International Congress on Medieval Studies, to be held at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, May 5-8, 2005. Faculty, graduate students, and independent scholars are invited to submit abstracts for papers on any linguistic, philological, or literary aspect of the Heliand.
