Applications are invited for a research post in the Surrey Morphology Group, for three years, available from 1 October 2004. This post is for the ESRC-funded Professorial Fellowship 'Grammatical Features: A Key to Understanding Language' awarded to Professor Greville Corbett. Candidates should have wide-ranging interests within linguistics. A good post-graduate degree in linguistics is highly desirable, and expertise in one or more of the following would be advantageous: morphological theory, syntactic theory, typology, computational linguistics, psycholinguistics. The ability to work collaboratively and to meet deadlines is essential. The job will involve working with cross-linguistic data, maintaining a database and contributing to joint papers.
