SOFTWARE ENGINEER -- CONTENT DATABASE

YOUR MISSION
* Build a language-learning engine driven by interactive real-time
 multimedia

WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Create a small-footprint content database for on-demand sequential
 and random access
* Design custom XML formats and communication protocols
* Develop sophisticated new language-learning applications

YOUR SKILLS
* Solid Windows or UNIX programming experience
* Expert in C++ and proven experience with OOA/D, OOP
* Extensive experience working with file system and multi-threaded
 applications 
* Experience developing applications that read custom binary and XML
 file formats
* Experience with socket-based communication a plus
* Database internal design experience a plus
* Participation / leadership role in full software life cycle for a
 commercial product strongly preferred

* 3 -- 5 years hands-on C++ development experience
