Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in French (Confirmation Path)

Department of Languages and Cultures
School of Language, Literature and Performing Arts

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the
confirmation path position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in French
within the Department of Languages and Cultures, School of Language,
Literature and Performing Arts. Applicants should have native or
near-native fluency in both French and English, and experience in
teaching French as a second language at tertiary level. In addition,
candidates should have a completed PhD in an area of French language
or culture (film or literature).

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in
the French programme. The appointee will also be required to pursue
research in the area of his or her higher degree expertise, and to
supervise the research of postgraduate students.
