We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate. In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have taken the trouble to respond to the query. Subject: IPA font for Mac OS 10.3

Can anyone recommend a good, and hopefully not too expensive, IPA font
for a Mac running OS 10.3? The SIL fonts I used to use in OS 9 don't
seem to work under OS 10. I've tried using ITC Stone Sans, but it's
not really adequate even for representing English, as it lacks a velar
nasal or any central vowels.

Alternatively, if it is possible to use the SIL fonts in OS 10, can
anyone tell me how?

thanks,
Fay
