Susan Lloyd McBurney, Wim Vandenbussche, John Brownie, Peter T.
Daniels, Phaedra Royle, Alain Theriault, Andrew Carnie, Aaron Lee,
Jeffrey Steele, Tom Gewecke, Erik Rasmussen, and anyone else who has
already sent a message but I haven't received it yet, for their
replies.

Most people told me that the SIL fonts worked fine for them with OS X,
and after some experimenting I have discovered that they work for me,
as well, but not with all applications. The problem turns out to be
that my preferred word processor can't seem to see them.
