Computational Lexicographer: Spanish, San Diego, CA

Systran Software Inc., a leader in Machine Translation technology
located in San Diego CA, is expanding and developing a new range of MT
technologies. We are seeking a highly qualified and energetic Spanish
computational lexicographer.

This person will lead the Spanish into English lexicographic team and
be responsible for the continuing development of the English and
Spanish components of the SYSTRAN dictionaries. This is an opportunity
to work in an evolving environment.

The primary task is to further develop and improve the English into
Spanish dictionary. Other responsibilities include: contribute to and
supervise the development of English generation dictionaries; Design
and supervise testing.

The ideal candidate will have an degree in Lexicography, Computational
Linguistics or Computer Science, will be a native speaker of Spanish,
will have good Perl programming skills and management skills, and will
have previous experience in English computational linguistics
projects.
