Language in Education Conference, 16-18 December 2004
The 18th International Language in Education Conference will be held on the
campus of the Hong Kong Institute of Education from 16-18 December 2004.
The theme for this year's conference is ''The Way Forward in Language
Education''. The plenary speakers include Professor Richard Schmidt of
University of Hawaii, Professor Jim Cummins of University of Toroto,
Professor Peter Skehan of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Professor
Jim Bell of The Hong Kong Institute of Education, Professor Cheng-hai Chew
of Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, Professor Wen-jin Ni of
East China Normal University of PRC, and Professor Yoon-wah Wong of Yuan Ze
University of Taiwan.
