Subject: A New Classic Speculative Grammarian Online
Greetings Linguists!
Speculative Grammarian, the premier scholarly journal
featuring research in the neglected field of satirical linguistics,
is proud to present a special classic issue of another of our
sister publications (actually, more of a weird but lovable
grandmotherly neighbor publication): Babel (no, not *that*
Babel--this is the funny one).
Babel, Volume I, Number 2, April 1990:

This issue resurrects, zombie-like, a number of classic
articles, including a ground-breaking report on an unlikely
language of the Andes, another important round in the endless
struggle between Tagmemics and Stratificationalism for
representational supremacy, and a Warning for Linguists that
is as timely as ever--along with the usual selection of other
high-quality articles, reviews, and letters from readers.
As always, SpecGram is also looking for new submissions!
Happy Reading!
