Description:
The University of Zurich invites applications for a Professorship (Full or
Associate) in English Language, to be filled by 1 September 2005 or later.
Applicants should have a demonstrated competence in (modern) English
linguistics; possible specializations include corpus linguistics,
sociolinguistics, English as a world language, language of the media,
conversation analysis and / or psycho-linguistics. Substantial publications
beyond the doctoral thesis and an adequate command of German are prerequisites.
