Beginning on the 1st of March, 2005, the Graduate Program 'Linguistic
representations and their interpretation' at the University of Stuttgart,
in the German-French cooperation program with the Doctoral School
'Cognition, language, interaction' at the Université de Paris VIII is offering
DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS IN LINGUISTICS
4 DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS
The doctoral fellowships will be given initially for 14 months. The usual
duration of funding is two years, the maximum duration of funding three
years (contingent upon the renewal of the graduate program by the Deutsche
Forschungsgemeinschaft).
Beyond the usual prerequisites for application, aditional requirements
apply for positions in the German-French program, with regard to program of
research, international mobility and language skills (see the webpages
listed below). The fellows will spend approximately half of the period of
funding at the partner university, Paris VIII. This mobility will be
additionally supported by the 'Deutsch-Französische Hochschule', including
a program with language courses.
The doctoral fellowships currently pay at least 1000 Euros per month.
