Description:

ILumin Software Services is looking for Linguists with skills in XML,
statistical approaches to NLP, Corpora based linguistics, Grammar and
Syntax, NLP tools, and Context-Free Grammars for a short-term contract
position.

The position requires some work in Reston VA. The pay is negotiable
and attractive. The length of the project is currently estimated to
be 6 months. ILumin expects to begin the project in January of
2004. Contract Positions may lead to full-time offers.

The contractor would be responsibilities:
-Work with a team to create a context-free grammar
-Analyze domain-specific unmarked corpora
-Test and Benchmark the performance of the context-free grammar

Skills:
-Experience and Knowledge of issues in Natural Language Processing
-Computer Proficiency (Windows)
-Experience with XML
-Experience with Linguistic Corpora

Advantageous:
-Statistics and statistical approaches to Natural Language Processing
-Extensive Structural Analysis--Grammar and Syntax
-Knowledge of NLP tools
