Description:

WTB Language Group is looking for translation support for a leading
hi-tech US company. Details are as follows:

Assignment Information 
Project Location: OREGON, USA
Project Name: Translation Lead
Length of Engagement: 3 months
Primary Skill: TRANSLATION MANAGEMENT
Other Skills: LINGUISTICS
Travel: Required

Roles & Responsibilities
Project Description: Translation support for multiple projects

Daily Responsibilities
* Active involvement with production internal and external project
 team : Project Managers, QA Leads, Engineers, other TLs, and
 Freelancers.
* File management, delivery, communication on scope, cost, schedule.

Years of Experience Desired: 3 - 4 years 
Expertise Level:
(Jr, Mid, Sr )	Mid

Necessary Skills (MUST Have):
* Experience as a technical translator, with a Bachelor's degree in
 Translation, Linguistics or similar field.
* Experience as a Linguistic Project Manager, showing the ability to
 work under stress and with tight schedules. Trados translation
 memory knowledge.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to fully support project team, project leads and Freelancers
 on all project needs.
* Intermediate skill with MS Office products

Additional Skills:
* Heavy Trados user, being able to troubleshoot and support
 Freelancers on queries.
* Ability to anticipate, plan and troubleshoot linguistic issues,
 queries, and support.
* 3-4 years of experience as a Linguistic Project Manager, estimating
 scope, analyzing files, and coordinating projects.
