Description:

CodeRyte Inc. is a small, growing, entrepreneurial company that has
developed software to automate the medical billing process using
natural language processing to analyze a doctor's dictation of a
patient encounter to determine the appropriate diagnosis and procedure
codes.

1) Job Title: Software Developer 

Job Description: As a Software Developer, you will work with the
natural language processing team in order to design and implement new
tools and components for language preprocessing, data analysis, data
exploration, software testing, and qualityassurance. Strong Perl or
Java software design and programming skills in a Unix environment are
required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in
the following areas: regular expressions, SQL databases, Web
applications, software development methodologies, and software testing
frameworks. You will have the opportunity to learn corpus-based
natural language processing techniques. Significant work experience
is preferred but entry-level candidates are welcome.

2)Job Title: NLP Software Developer

Job Description: As an NLP Software Developer, you will work with the
natural language processing team to maintain and extend CodeRyte's
natural languageprocessing engine and medical coding software. You
will also perform exploratory data analysis. Strong programming skills
in Perl or Java (preferably both) are required. Preference will be
given to candidates with experience in the following areas:
statistical NLP, software development in Unix environment, Web
application development, and medical coding. Significant work
experience is preferred but entry-level candidates are welcome.

3)Title: Senior NLP Software Developer

Job Description: As a senior NLP software engineer, you will develop
the natural language processing engine's core technologies, at times
assuming a project leadership roll on the design and implementation of
engine components. Strong software design and development skills are
required, and you must be very strong in either Perl or Java
(preferably both). Preference will be given to candidates with
experience in the following areas: statistical NLP, supervised machine
learning techniques, corpus linguistics, Web applications development,
and/or medical coding. Experienced candidates are preferred (3-7
years in a software development environment with professional or
university NLP experience); very strong candidates with less work
experience will be considered.
