The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) invites
applications for Chancellor. The Chancellor serves as academic leader of
DLIFLC and is the principle technical authority on foreign language
instruction, instructional technology and methodology, course design and
curriculum. This leadership position presents a unique and diverse opportunity.
DLIFLC is a year-round military school specializing in the teaching of
foreign languages. It is accredited by the Accrediting Council for
Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and
Colleges and offers an Associate of Arts degree. More than 1,000 faculty
members teach over two-dozen languages to approximately 3,500 students from
the four military services; courses at DLIFLC are intensive.
