Description:

The Institut fuer deutsche Sprache und Linguistik announces a three year
full position in the rank of Junior Professor for 'General Linguistics:
Syntax and Phonology', extendable after a review to six years, to be filled
October 10, 2005. Tasks include research and teaching in syntax, phonology
and the syntax/phonology interface. Work on other languages than English
and German is expected. The junior professor should supplement existing
capacities in the Institut and should be willing to submit a research
proposal in the Sonderforschungsbereich 632: Information structure.

Applicants are expected to have a completed PhD and additional
publications; see Berliner Hochschulgesetz Par. 102a.
