The position is for four years, renewable for an additional four year period. With a large staff of full-and part-time instructors, the ELP is an innovative, integrated academic English program that prepares ICU students for the university's bilingual (Japanese-English) liberal arts curriculum. Desirable qualifications: M.A. or Ph.D. in TESOL, applied linguistics, or related field; substantial English language teaching experience; administrative experience in an English language program; international experience; publications. The salary will be based on the University's salary scale. Starting date: April 1, 2006, or as soon as possible thereafter.
