Meeting Description:

Workshop held in conjunction with CONTEXT 05, the Fifth International
Interdisciplinary Conference on Modeling and Using Context.

The semantics/pragmatics distinction has been very much discussed lately. The
aim of the workshop is to examine the relationship among the different criteria
that have been used to distinguish pragmatic phenomena from semantic ones, to
elicit proposals for new criteria, and to discuss the relevance and the
applications of the semantics/pragmatics distinction.
