Cradle of Language Conference The University of Stellenbosch (US) and the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS) are jointly organizing a multidisciplinary, international conference on language evolution - The Cradle of Language Conference (CLC) - to be held from 7 - 10 November 2006 in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The theme of the CLC is: The evolutionary emergence of human language in Africa.
