Subject: BLonline - Improved User Interface
BLONLINE - IMPROVED USER INTERFACE Today, July 11, 2005, a new, user-friendly, user interface of BLonline has been launched. Retrieving data from this online bibliographical database of linguistic publications has become easier and more effective. The most important features are: - simple search and advanced search options are now available - an option to search by "any word" has been introduced, in addition to searching in specific fields - searching by subject has been considerably improved - better navigation possibilities have been introduced BLonline is the web version of the Bibliographie linguistique/Linguistic Bibliography, which has been published by the Permanent International Committee of Linguists since 1950. BLonline is produced and hosted by the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, the National Library of the Netherlands. It covers the period 1993 till the present; it now contains over 190,000 references and is updated monthly. BLonline is freely accessible for every scholar and student of linguistics.
