Position is in Herndon, VA, USA

This is an opportunity to join a major intelligence technology initiative
using Ontology.

The approach combines metadata, web services, and ontologies. The ontology
tasks include defining the ontological way ahead, creating a core ontology
(using the government CYC as the core currently) that provides a hub that
xml objects can map into, the software to maintain the hub and mappings,
and the software to allow an analyst to model into the ontology and save it.

Requirements:

- 7 years of combined ontology, knowledge management and artificial
intelligence experience

- BS Degree (A related MS can be substituted for years of experience)

- Ability to use one or more: OWL, RDF and DAML tools

- Thorough understanding of taxonomies and ontologies and techniques to
implement a semantic web solution

- Experience with software development and software development lifecycle
(SDLC)

- Knowledge of XML and web-enabling technologies (e.g. ASP, ASP.NET, C#,
SWL, J2EE, EJB, Oracle, SQL Server, Visual Basic, etc.)

- Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments

- Familiarity with open source technologies

- You must be a US Citizen
