University or Organization: Humboldt-Universität Department: Institut für deutsche Sprache und Linguistik Job Rank: Researcher Specialty Areas: Psycholinguistics; Language Comprehension, Utterance Production Required Language: German, Standard (deu) Description: The Psycholinguistics Lab of the Humboldt-University at Berlin invites applications for the position of a researcher (50 %; BAT IIa) in the interdisciplinary and international research project ClockWORK, funded by the Gottlieb Daimler- and Karl Benz-Foundation. The Berlin based subproject focuses on the circadian oscillation of human language faculty and performance in lexical access, language comprehension and utterance production. We are seeking a linguist or a psycholinguist with skills in experimental research. Additional expertise in the construction and standardization of linguistic tests is desirable. The project will begin October 1, 2005 and run for a period of two years with the option of a one year extension; applications will be considered until December 1, 2005. Applicants should submit a letter of interest, a current vita and the names of two persons that can be asked for a letter of recommendation.
