Description:
Tenured position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in Spanish
linguistics, beginning September 1, 2006. Native or near-native
proficiency in Spanish, excellent teaching and scholarly credentials
required. Training in foreign language methodology, second-language
acquisition, and teaching with technology strongly desired. Will
coordinate lower-division Spanish and Portuguese teaching with the
assistance of a Ph.D. methodologist. Teaching load is two courses per
year. Send dossier, including letter of application, CV, three reference
letters, examples of scholarly work, and evidence of teaching excellence
to the address below. Salary commensurate with experience. Consideration of
