Qs: Interactive Tutorial - Request for TGREP Queries
Editor for this issue: Steven Moran <steve

We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have taken the trouble to respond to the query.
To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.html.

Subject: Interactive tutorial - request for TGREP queries
Hello! I'm writing an interactive TGREP GUI/tutorial using Perl/Tk for a
(extended) class assignment.
I thought that rather than making up sample queries out of the blue, it
would be better to ask fellow linguists what research they are really using
TGREP for.
It would help me greatly if anyone would be willing to send me some TGREP
queries (I'll take any, from simple to complex!) along with their intended
target (i.e., the TGREP command and what you were hoping to find).
In return, I'll be happy to send you my GUI (likely with a request to test
it... sneaky devil) and acknowledge your contribution.
Thanks so much!
