Primary Responsibility:
As part of our high-caliber computational linguistics R&D team, the successful
candidate will derive linguistic generalizations, construct formal
representations to integrate them in our informational management system and
insure their successful implementation.
Challenges:
- Integrate fundamental research principles into an IT product with a strong
commercial orientation and unique technological edge.
- Ensure proposed innovations are in accordance with the software development
life cycle and can be easily incorporated in the development plan.
- Analyze and model linguistic knowledge & findings.
- Participate in the development of an innovative product alongside a
multidisciplinary team of passionate individuals.
Required skills:
- Industry experience in commercial NLP or AI projects;
- Masters in linguistics with specialization in semantics (Ph.D. an asset);
- General knowledge of object-oriented programming;
- Self-motivating and dedicated to accomplishing mandates;
- High level of professionalism and excellence.
Other information:
- Bilingual proficiency required (French & English);
- This is a permanent position;
- The company offices are located in Montreal, Quebec.
