It will take place at the weekend in the middle of the Leipzig Spring School on Linguistic Diversity (LSSLD). The Leipzig Students' Conference is open for graduate and undergraduate students from all fields of linguistics. Papers should be presented in English. The maximum time allotted for presentation is 30 minutes plus 15 minutes for discussion. Notification of acceptance is by January 15th, 2006. Send your one-page (A4 or US-Letter; references may be added on an extra page) abstract to Fachschaftsrat Linguistik at the address below, either by email (preferably in PDF format) or as hard copy, to arrive no later than November 30th, 2005. This is the first time for AFLA to be held in a place where a number of Austronesian languages are still actively spoken. We invite submissions of abstracts in any area of Austronesian linguistics. An additional page for data, figures, and references may be included. Already published papers will not be accepted.
