Description:
The Spanish Program in Modern and Classical Languages announces a position for a
non-tenure-track Clinical Assistant Professor to coordinate our Basic Spanish
Program. The position requires training and/or experience in Spanish language
acquisition, theory practice and pedagogy, with PHD in Spanish or Spanish
Applied Linguistics. Duties include hiring, supervising and evaluating, as well
as teaching a pedagogy/methodology course for, BSP TAs and Lecturers;
coordinating with the Spanish Program, the Language acquisition Center and other
components; coordinating tutorial referrals and internships; as well as Spanish
placement and evaluation services. Salary competitive. Applicants should send a
