Description:
In the context of a bilateral cooperation with the Radboud University
Nijmegen (Department of Linguistics) and the Philipps University Marburg
(Research Group Neurolinguistics), the MPI for Human Cognitive and Brain
Sciences is seeking to fill a PhD position on the cross-linguistic
investigation of argument interpretation. In particular, the successful
candidate will be expected to perform EEG-based research on the processing
of Hindi. He/she should have research interests in both
psycho-/neurolinguistics and language typology and, preferably, expertise
in South Asian languages (Hindi). For further information regarding the

Except for approved absences (e.g. data acquisition at the institute's
foreign language EEG lab in Berlin, conferences etc.), the place of work is
Leipzig.
Due to constraints on funding, the position should be filled no later than
